As per agreement with each client SynriX Operating System management services can either be provided exclusively by the SynriX team (Outsourcing model) or in cooperation with the clients System Administration team (Co-outsourcing model) in which system management is done by SynriX and the client. Independently of the model chosen and as agreed with the client the responsibility of each team (SynriX and client) will be defined. SynriX is always responsible for fixing the issues detected, preventive maintenance, proposing system improvements to the client and presenting the necessary reports on the tasks performed.
The Operating Systems managed by SynriX are the following:
- RedHat Enterprise
- Ubuntu LTS
- Other Linux distributions, when agreed with the client
- Oracle Solaris
- IBM AIX
- Other Unix systems, when agreed with the client
SynriX OS Managed Services are usually provided through the acquisition of a support package which includes a specific number of hours for said services. If the client outsources all the Operating System management to SynriX, a monthly cost per machine can be agreed, in which case the machines will be managed exclusively by the SynriX team.
